Recording costs almost nothing now

Goals, the scale and the analysis stay as they were. What's new is a layer that shortens the way from doing a thing to recording it. Four ways in, three of them without opening the app.

  • One sentence instead of eight taps

"All done, it was good." Or "nothing today." I propose what that means for the habits you had planned, and you tap once. Nothing is written until you confirm, and afterwards you get five seconds to undo. If you record in the app, recognition happens on your device. Through Siri, Apple recognises the sentence and hands me only the text.

  • Stickers and codes that sit on the thing itself

An NFC sticker on the pill box, a QR code by the front door. Tapping it records the check-in. I print the codes for you, filling the page or at 3 × 3 and 5 × 5 cm. An anchor can set a fixed value or briefly ask how it went.

  • What your body does records itself

Sleep, steps, workouts and more come from Apple Health if you allow it. I now offer that right at the start instead of leaving it three levels deep in Settings.

  • The evening notification wants nothing from you

It reports what is already recorded instead of asking you for something. You can answer straight from the notification, which means dictation too, without ever seeing the home screen.

The print screen: the anchor either writes a fixed value or asks when tappedThe anchor section in a routine’s settings, with sticker linking and QR printing

What your body does happens on its own. What most of us actually get stuck on, opening the letter, starting the task, does not. I don't know a shortcut for that. There are tricks that make the task smaller, though.

The letter tray trick

The DopaLoop Cycle

The app watches your own check-ins. When a routine doesn't fit, it suggests a change: less often when things are hard, more when you outgrow it. You decide; it learns with you.

A plan that adapts

When you only really manage a daily routine a few times a week, DopaLoop offers to switch it to your real pace. No more daily pressure. Thriving? It raises the target. After two weeks it checks back: working, or try something else? You decide. The app doesn't judge.

NFC stickers and QR codes

How does DopaLoop work?

Four steps, one loop. Everything happens on your device.

DopaLoop: Detect
1

Detect

Check in with 0-5 intensity instead of yes or no. Partial wins count. You see honestly where you stand right now.

DopaLoop: Plan
2

Plan

Goals give your habits meaning. DopaLoop groups habits under your why and suggests adjustments when something doesn't fit.

DopaLoop: Apply
3

Apply

The dashboard shows what's up today. Gentle reminders and the Apple Watch help you stay with it, without adding pressure.

DopaLoop: Reflect
4

Reflect

Statistics show your patterns: what's connected and what helps on hard days. That shapes the next plan.

… and the loop starts again. A little better matched each time.

Yes - and it's guaranteed by architecture. DopaLoop stores all data exclusively on your device. There is no server, no cloud, no database that could store your habits. Even voice recognition runs entirely on your iPhone. Voice notes are excluded from iCloud backup by default. You can opt in and protect them with Advanced Data Protection for end-to-end encryption. Privacy-First isn't marketing - it's how the app is built.
Not everything is black or white. Instead of just 'done' or 'not done', you show how intensely you performed a habit - from 'briefly tried' (1) to 'fully committed' (5). A 10-minute meditation counts just as much as an hour-long session. Every step counts - even the small ones.
Most habit trackers treat habits as ends in themselves. DopaLoop organizes everything around your goals. Your habits are tools that help you achieve what truly matters to you. This gives every habit real meaning - and keeps motivation lasting longer.
Absolutely - DopaLoop was built with ADHD and RSD (Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria) in mind. That means: no streak punishment, supportive language instead of criticism, flexible intensity, and understanding for difficult days. But this design helps everyone - nobody likes being shamed.
Yes. The Apple Watch app enables quick check-ins right from your wrist. Through HealthKit, steps, sleep, and workouts are tracked automatically - no manual entry needed. All data stays on your device throughout.
DopaLoop is purpose-built for ADHD brains. Unlike generic habit trackers, it uses a 0-5 intensity scale instead of binary pass/fail, organizes habits under meaningful goals (Goals-First), includes forgiving streaks that don't punish missed days, and uses supportive language designed for Rejection Sensitive Dysphoria (RSD). All data stays 100% on your device.
DopaLoop stores all data exclusively on your iPhone. There is no server, no cloud database, no analytics, and no account required. Even voice transcription runs on-device via WhisperKit. This isn't a policy choice - it's an architectural guarantee. There is literally no backend that could store your data.
DopaLoop differs from other habit trackers in three key ways: (1) Goals-First organization where habits serve goals, not the other way around, (2) 0-5 intensity tracking instead of binary done/not-done, and (3) ADHD-friendly design with no streak shaming. Compared to Streaks, Habitica, HabitKit, and Habitify, DopaLoop is the only app that combines all three with full on-device privacy.
