Recording costs almost nothing now
Goals, the scale and the analysis stay as they were. What's new is a layer that shortens the way from doing a thing to recording it. Four ways in, three of them without opening the app.
One sentence instead of eight taps
"All done, it was good." Or "nothing today." I propose what that means for the habits you had planned, and you tap once. Nothing is written until you confirm, and afterwards you get five seconds to undo. If you record in the app, recognition happens on your device. Through Siri, Apple recognises the sentence and hands me only the text.
Stickers and codes that sit on the thing itself
An NFC sticker on the pill box, a QR code by the front door. Tapping it records the check-in. I print the codes for you, filling the page or at 3 × 3 and 5 × 5 cm. An anchor can set a fixed value or briefly ask how it went.
What your body does records itself
Sleep, steps, workouts and more come from Apple Health if you allow it. I now offer that right at the start instead of leaving it three levels deep in Settings.
The evening notification wants nothing from you
It reports what is already recorded instead of asking you for something. You can answer straight from the notification, which means dictation too, without ever seeing the home screen.

What your body does happens on its own. What most of us actually get stuck on, opening the letter, starting the task, does not. I don't know a shortcut for that. There are tricks that make the task smaller, though.
The letter tray trick →The DopaLoop Cycle
The app watches your own check-ins. When a routine doesn't fit, it suggests a change: less often when things are hard, more when you outgrow it. You decide; it learns with you.
Based on CBT behavioural experiments — Bennett-Levy et al., 2004
Your why gives your habits meaning
Goals give your habits meaning. Not the other way around.
A plan that adapts
When you only really manage a daily routine a few times a week, DopaLoop offers to switch it to your real pace. No more daily pressure. Thriving? It raises the target. After two weeks it checks back: working, or try something else? You decide. The app doesn't judge.
Adaptive Analytics
What do your best days have in common? The analytics find patterns you wouldn't spot yourself.
Thought pattern detection
Spots automatic thinking patterns in your voice notes and asks you about them. Based on your actual data, not generic advice.
Your ADHD data belongs only to you
All your data stays on your device. No cloud, no servers, no tracking. Your habits are nobody's business.
NFC stickers and QR codes
A sticker on the pill box, a code on the letter tray. A tap logs it without finding the app. DopaLoop writes the stickers itself and never locks them.
Built for neurodivergent brains
ADHD and RSD shaped every design decision. The language is gentle, streaks don't punish you, and bad days are just days.
HealthKit Auto-Tracking
Sleep, steps, and workouts are tracked automatically. Connect your habits to Apple Health - your data still stays on your device.
Behavioral experiments
Think "exercise doesn't help me anyway"? Set up a mini-experiment. Your tracking data shows whether that's actually true.
RSD First Aid
Instant help during emotional flooding. Body first (haptics, breathing), then mind (self-compassion, emotion labeling). Reachable on iPhone and Apple Watch in 1-2 taps.
Emotion Check-in
Name what you feel. Putting emotions into words actually calms your brain down (Lieberman, 2007). Over time you see which feelings show up with which habits.
Brain Dump
Racing thoughts at night? Speak them out or write them down. Local transcription, sentiment analysis, and morning review. The signal to your brain: everything is saved, you can let go.
2 minutes of meditation counts too
Not everything is black or white. The 0-5 scale lets you log partial effort. Did something? It counts.
HealthKit Auto-Tracking
Sleep, steps, and workouts are tracked automatically. Connect your habits to Apple Health - your data still stays on your device.
Apple Watch App
Track your habits right from your wrist. Quick check-ins without reaching for your iPhone.
Siri Shortcuts
Track your habits by voice. Too tired to type? Just talk.
Adaptive Analytics
What do your best days have in common? The analytics find patterns you wouldn't spot yourself.
Mood Timeline
See how your well-being changes over time. Which habits actually make you feel better? This shows you.
Sleep Correlation
Understand how your sleep affects your habits. Automatic via HealthKit - no manual tracking needed.
ADHD Self-Check
The validated ASRS-v1.1 screener right in the app. Track your results over time - all data stays on your device.
Therapist Export
Create a clear PDF report for your next doctor's appointment. Your habits, mood, and sleep at a glance.
Accountability Partner
Share your progress without comparison, without cloud, without an app on the other end.
How does DopaLoop work?
Four steps, one loop. Everything happens on your device.

Detect
Check in with 0-5 intensity instead of yes or no. Partial wins count. You see honestly where you stand right now.

Plan
Goals give your habits meaning. DopaLoop groups habits under your why and suggests adjustments when something doesn't fit.

Apply
The dashboard shows what's up today. Gentle reminders and the Apple Watch help you stay with it, without adding pressure.

Reflect
Statistics show your patterns: what's connected and what helps on hard days. That shapes the next plan.
… and the loop starts again. A little better matched each time.
